The Eighties Style

 

In 1980 women's style sense evoloved into something colourful and exciting.  Fashion was all about colour, size and experimentation.  Clothes in bright colours such as turquoise and neon pink replaced the muted colours of the 70's.  Lycra,  blue mascara, hair to the skies and shoulder pads not far behind it defined the decade.  Popular movies and the advent of the music video influenced ladies fashion trends more than ever.  The lines between women and men's fashion blurred and many of the biggest trends were unisex.  Power suits, flouncy blouses, makeup and perms were all enjoyed by gals and guys in the 80's.
